Kimberly Nielsen and Mike
Maulding offer you this apartment home to rent for your Alaska vacation. It is fully furnished and includes all the amenities
to make you feel at home and relax after your Alaska adventures. We appreciate the comforts of home after spending long days
playing under the midnight sun (or snow, for that matter) and we will do everything we can to make it that way for you, too.
Mike moved to Alaska in 1987 to work on fishing boats in Prince William Sound. Kim came for adventure in 1993
and has not tired of it yet.
We each bought homes in nearby town of Girdwood, where we later met and became friends
and eventually got married. We bought our current home in Anchorage, as a way to combine our lives and make room for the future.
We enjoy outdoor activities in the wilderness of Alaska, including camping, hiking, backpacking/trekking, fishing,
canoeing, kayaking, boating, cross-country and backcountry skiing, snow-shoeing, and more. We are very familiar with the Anchorage,
Mat-Su Valley, Girdwood, Prince William Sound, and Kenai Peninsula areas and have visited numerous other areas throughout
the state such as Denali Park, Lake Clark and Katmai Park, the North Slope Villages, and Southeast Alaska. We are happy to
provide you with recommendations and advice to assist you with your travel plans.
